In order to support and train the key, professional role of community Garden manager or facilitator, a European, ECVET accredited Gardeniser training programme has been developed. The Gardeniser Pro course is divided into 3 modules and each module includes different units with one or more learning outcomes.
Training details:
- Hybrid training: face to face and online training using Zoom
- The course runs every Wednesday. First day (19/3/25) and last day (21/5/2025) will be a face to face course at Oxford City Farm running from 10am-4pm. The middle sessions will be online using Zoom from 13:00-15:00.
- There will be a 2 week break over Easter (9th and 16th April).
- Following the classroom attendance the course requires around 40 hours of practical/homework which backs up the learning in the class and uses participants' own experience.
- Successful completion of course, homework and online test results in a Gardeniser Pro license.
