The major survey on community urban gardens continues this year across 13 gardens in 8 districts of Rome. A project that Replay Network aps is carrying out thanks to the valuable collaboration with the Department of Economics of Roma Tre University.
In 2025, 8 gardens, over 150 students involved and more than 800 questionnaires to answer a fundamental question: ‘What is the value of community gardens for the city?’ This year, students of the Sustainable Human Development course are out in the field to gather the experiences of gardeners and non-gardeners at the gardens:

Gardeniser Community is a European Erasmus+ Adult Education project supported by INDIRE National Agency, which promotes community gardens as spaces for learning and active citizenship, highlighting their impact on local areas.

It is a community that grows.
