Since 2016, I have raised £17k to create publicly-accessible food-growing spaces across a number of sites (30+) across London. In 2016 I raised £10k for the development of community orchards and neighbourhood edible “forest gardens” around London Borough of Sutton. In 2019, I raised further £7k and planted on 15 new locations in further boroughs Merton, Sutton, Croydon, Kingston and Brent; with 12 new sites scheduled for autumn 2020 and spring 2021 in Southwark, Lewisham, Hammersmith and Fulham.
I am skilled at developing appropriate teaching resources, liaising effectively with a diversity of partner organisations and I am adept at managing volunteer teams. In 2019 I took part in the EU-funded GARDENISER Erasmus+ EU KA2 VET programme, a course designed to upskill in those working urban farm management.
