After working as a counsellor I went back to university as a mature student and retrained in Environmental Design and Management and Social and Therapeutic Horticulture. Since then I've taught horticulture, worked on a city farm, set up horticulture projects for mental health and young offenders and ran my own plant sales business. I am currently working at Summerwood Community Gardens where I get to work with a wide variety of people in a great community
