Richard has worked with various community gardening groups across London in his capacity as an itinerant narrowboat dweller. Most recently, he has taken up work as Lead Grower with Black Rootz, a Black-led food growing project growing culturally appropriate crops at the Wolves Lane Horticultural Centre. He also facilitates peer-to-peer networking and skills sharing in his role as London Development Officer with Social Farms & Gardens.
