Rita has nearly 30 years of expertise as a professional freelance gardener and outdoor educator.

She has designed and delivered organic food growing training for children and adults across

London in schools, community gardens, city farms and supported the development of new

community growing spaces with residents and the community though her current work as community growing coordintor at the charity Seeds for Growth

Rita holds a bachelor's degree in education, is a qualified Forest School Leader and has recently

achieved a qualification as a Gardeniser 

In 2019 Rita was part of a duo who were awarded a Gold for their design “Living our best life... in progress” and the Five Flower Award for plants in the category Community Allotment Gardens.
