A yoga teacher, writer and musician, I am quite new, yet committed to the social gardens and farms' experience. I was volunteering at an allotment in Berlin for 2 years. I studied Organic Gardening for 1 year at Sydenham Garden in London. I have my own garden and an allotment plot in West Norwood. I've almost completed the Pro Gardeniser course: I only have the exam to complete before I qualify! I'm particularly interested in promoting wellbeing through gardening. I'm an advocate for increased Green or Social Prescribing. I'd like to merge my interests for gardening with yoga. I wish to increase cultural diversity in community gardens, to promote inclusion and creativity. I have ideas to bring to life innovative projects that would enable groups who may not be familiar with gardening experiences to join in more and to enjoy the wonderful benefits social and community gardens and farms have to offer. I believe community farming and gardening is one of the best tools to change society from the inside out, by increasing sustainability and wellbeing for all.
