I have recently finished a project for Bonnymuir Green Community Trust in Aberdeen, transforming a derelict old bowling green into a thriving garden and community hub. I worked with a dedicated team of volunteers to establish a site to grow veg for the community, promote wildlife, have workshops, run a cafe and social events.
I also coordinate a great initiative called The Allotment Market Stall. As the name suggests, we collect excess allotment produce from around the city and sell it, the proceeds going back to boost allotment sites. The next stage is to develop a new plot to cultivate our own produce.
